COMPULSORY RETIREMENT AFTER 30 YEARS OF SERVICE/ON REACHING 50 YEARS OF AGE?VIEWS OF EMPLOYEES

Recently, the Central Government Employee’s Welfare Ministry released an announcement which has created panic and commotion among the central government employees.

In the announcement it has been said that senior officials have to analyse the service record and decide whether employees who have completed thirty years of service or reached their 50th year should continue their service or be advised to leave service after three months notice.

Does it take a management to learn that an official or an employee is unfit to continue in service when he has reached his 50th year? Does it take thirty years of continuous service to assess the efficiency of an employee?

Can’t the ability of an employee be learnt during his probation period? Leaving an employee at such times and trying to force him out of service when he is old appears rather inhumane.

When problems like educations expenses of children, marriage and housing loan afflict employees, the announcement of compulsory retirement will certainly be a great shock.

Hence, Central Government should provide an explanation about the announcement and help clear the doubts of the central Government Employees. Changes have to be made at the beginning itself. If the Central Government brings changes at a very late period then the purpose for which it released this very announcement would become futile and ineffective. On the contrary, it will only lead to a loss of trust that employees have on the Central Government.

it is good idea it cuts extra expenditure of GOVT to buid amake indi,digital india view last 5 years of top officer expenditure more than corors including pay/tpt/house and other expenditure. and it create employment of youth.

It will create unrest and disappointment among experienced employees.The persons who have served the countries for long years one fine morning they become ineffective employee.This type of thinking is unjustified and destructive type.All central govt.employee should oppose this pessimistic view of government. This may be a very nice and widely accepted decision of shri Modi Govt ,Since there is an un ended queue of unemployed talented ,young ,energetic ,dynamic,efficient highly educated ,young Indians waiting for job opportunity VRS .should be given after 15 years service only .to create employment for young Indians who are the future responsible Indians.

This will be a Very good,Fine decision of Govt since all young Indians are waiting for job opportunity .elder and experienced employee should understand this problem and opportunity should be given to their own young generation who are their son and daughter only. Govt should utilize elder and experienced and useful employee as a guide or consultant who can guide their son and daughter as they guide in there house also and this option is always with Govt at any Time..By implementing this idea govt can create job opportunity to young Indians(65%) and services of elder , experienced and useful employees can be utilized in fruitful manner..This is the right time even VRS can be given after 15 years of service in order to create job opportunity to young generation.In this way all young generation and old employee can be balance and by implementing this today young generation can become future responsible Indians who is having whole responsibility on their shoulder of India in future.we should give chance to learn them from old people to become responsible Indians by giving them job opportunity,This will help to reduce crime in India also.Nobody is criminal by birth only situation and circumstances tends to force ably and automatically are the main and major factors to become criminals.

I don't want to disclose my identity as may be victimize of the dept. however it is brought out that Govt if intended to cut expenditure than should stop unwarranted expenditure on orientation courses to promoted AEE/AE QS&C to EE QS&C in MES course already commenced at CME Pune wef 05 oct to 1o oct & 12 oct to 17 oct
100 EE QS&C have been deputed having more than 34 to 35 yrs exp and lhaving 2.5 to 3 yrs balance service exp may not be less than 50 lacks

Only excellelen ® nice idea, Modi is good only those comments only being recommended in this column.Why so much cha cha to modi. Pl see ratio of employees in other countries and shortage of strength of employees in India. Always speaks of youth .It is sujested to recruit youth fix them consolidated pay for four years then fix them nice pay give promotion for every five years .The youth will be beneficiaries without reducing the retirement age and doing other mischuous programs.Party funds also public money wasting for election tours instead on keeping mind on effective measures.For releasing DA /Bonus also govt is taking so much time previously payments are made with in ten days of the sanction .Why this is happening the Govt is not interested to release payments .and interested to enhance taxes in any such matter it likes.

Really ? 15 years? Imagine u getting a job at 25 years and retiring at 40.. U ll understand how it will be when u are in that position.

Very good idea if only new recruitment is made. If the work of the vacant posts is outsourced or the posts are not filled up or kept vacant, then a very bad one. One thing must be kept in mind that government employment induces strict discipline and spendthriftness in the employees because of the reputation one gets and the environment one is in.
